I love my work and feel privileged to continually witness the incredible capacity for human strength, resistance, and healing.
I have worked with clients of all ages in community services, schools, child-care centres and government agencies for over 10 years. Some of these roles have included crisis response and suicide intervention, mental health and substance-use counselling and support and advocacy for persons with disabilities.
I value time for rest, play and learning. I love connecting to nature and can be found on regular adventures with my partner and little ones.
How I Work
My approach to counselling draws on several types of therapy and depends on the individual needs of my clients. Some of these might include:
- Humanistic and Client-Centred Therapies
- Emotion-Focused Individual and Family Therapy
- Feedback-Informed Treatment
- Family-Systems
- Response-Based Practice
- Feminist Therapy
My practice is always developing as I grow as a person and practitioner. I engage in continuous learning through professional development and clinical consultation.
